Four cruise ships docked at Curaçao’s port yesterday. According to the Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA), these were P&O Cruises’ Ventura, Mystic Cruises’ World Voyager, Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Epic, and Royal Caribbean International’s Grandeur of the Seas.
They had a combined capacity of 11.000 cruise passengers, although there are fewer people on board due to the current pandemic.
CPA also notes that the sailing schedule is changing more frequently than usual due to the effects of the ever-present COVID-19 pandemic. However, despite its unpredictable and shifting effects over the past two years, Curaçao hosted 107 ships and around 146.000 cruise passengers in 2021, solidifying the island’s status as a popular cruise destination.
