Curaçao Shines At A Major Travel Expo In The USA!

In late February, the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) participated in the 2023 edition of the New York Travel & Adventure Show in New York City. This is the largest general-audience expo in the United States and the CTB participated in it together with representatives from 7 resorts in Curaçao.

This included Acoya Curaçao Resort, Villas & Spa, Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort, Coral Estate Luxury Resort, LionsDive Beach Resort Curaçao, Papagayo Hotel & Resort, Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort, Dreams Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino, Sunscape Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino, and Zoëtry Curaçao Resort & Spa.

For two days, the Curaçao team displayed the island’s prime attractions and hospitality options to all fairgoers, including travel agents. On the first day, in particular, the agents were very noticeable among the visiting audience.

This did not go unnoticed by the CTB, which hosted dinners in Manhattan and Westchester County for the agents in collaboration with the CTB’s PR agency in the US, Diamond PR, the Bonaire Tourist Board, and the CTB’s representation agency, The Muse Collection.

Chefs from Curaçao highlighted the island’s local cuisine and shared the island’s rich history through many local dishes during those gatherings. The CTB and the participating hotels also shared information about Curaçao and the island’s local hotels throughout the meals.

The Curaçao team’s activities at this fair proved to be yet another major milestone for the island’s leap into the international public eye.
