In a region where islands are separated by sea but united by opportunity, Curaçao is redefining how business is done. From February 21 to March 5, 2026, Corendon Cruise’s Ambassador Renaissance will host a 12-day mission that transforms maritime mobility into a moving hub for trade, innovation, and partnership-building.
For the first time in Curaçao, a cruise ship will serve as a floating conference hall, connecting entrepreneurs directly with regional markets in an immersive, dynamic environment. Entrepreneurs from Curaçao will board in Willemstad and visit eight destinations: Barbados, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Antigua & Barbuda, Sint Maarten, the British Virgin Islands, St. Kitts & Nevis and Saint Lucia. Daily on-board events, sector-specific workshops, B2B matchmaking in each port, and continuous networking ensure the journey truly becomes one of growth.
“Why a cruise? Because a ship is more than transport, it’s a platform,” the organizing team explains. “It offers seamless travel across multiple jurisdictions, focused business sessions, and networks that live beyond the voyage.” This mission reflects a bold new model for the Caribbean: using maritime connectivity as a strategic driver for trade.
The mission is organized by the Vereniging Bedrijfsleven Curaçao (VBC, English: Curaçao Business Association) in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Development of Curaçao, CINEX ( Curaçao Investment & Export Promotion Agency), and the Curaçao Tourist Board. Its focus will be export growth, market entry, regional value-chains, and long-term partnerships.
This journey offers Curaçao’s companies a cost-efficient and purpose-built path into neighbouring markets, while reinforcing the island’s role as a strategic business hub in the Caribbean.
Curaçao is positioning itself to lead not just in tourism or hospitality, but also in regional economic integration and connectivity. By boarding the Ambassador Renaissance, participants are charting a course toward shared prosperity in the Caribbean.
Spaces are limited and Curaçao companies are encouraged to register early here.
