The Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) recently participated in promotional and networking events in Belgium and the Netherlands, promoting everything that Curaçao has to offer as a tourist destination, with the help of private-sector partners. The Curaçao team met with consumers, travel agents, tour operators, as well as other (independent) travel advisers.
Curaçao is exhibiting for the first time at Vakantiesalon Brussel, Belgium’s largest travel exhibition, with over 1150 exhibitors and 28,695 visitors. Over the course of four days, a team comprised of CTB and eight local partners represented Curaçao at the show, presenting information on what the island has to offer to consumers looking for the perfect family vacation or honeymoon destination.
Curaçao also joined forces with Aruba to organize the first edition of the Caribbean Roadshow Belgium. At this two-day roadshow with 75 participating travel agents and tour operators, the Curaçao team showcased our destination, accommodations, and activities, as well as the connection to the island, offered by Air Belgium.
Then the team made its way over to the second edition of the TravDay Fair held in the Netherlands. There, the CTB and its partners met with independent travel advisers, travel agency and tour operator CEOs, and those involved in product sales, in general, to provide them with the most up-to-date information about Curaçao’s tourism products.
