The Curaçaoan community organization Kolektivo has announced that it will be holding the Kolektivo Festival at Landhuis Chobolobo on October 22nd. This will be Curaçao’s first-ever international innovation festival and it will bring together local and international technology experts, entrepreneurs, change-makers, farmers, and university and high school students. The festival will provide a setting in which they can exchange ideas in the areas of social impact, technology, and entrepreneurship.
The event will transform Landhuis Chobolobo into 2 stage areas, an NFT art gallery, and a zen area, in addition to spaces for local vendors, drinks, and food stations. At the moment, there are also 14 confirmed speakers on the topics of community development, entrepreneurship, regenerative development, regenerative finance, and creativity.
At the end of the festival, visitors will know how to leverage new technologies and models to positively impact the local and international community.
Kolektivo is a community organization that is attempting to redesign the foundation of Curaçao’s local economy and community by creating a complementary economic system that is purely driven by social impact. This essentially monetizes social impact and creates a regenerative economy that is interconnected, holistic, balanced, adaptive, innovative, community-driven, abundant, and robust.
For this festival, they are still looking for more help with sponsors and volunteers, as well as additional speakers and exhibitors. If you feel you can provide assistance in any of these areas, visit www.kolektivofestival.com for more information on how you can sign up.
Tickets for the Kolektivo Festival are ANG 25,- and are on sale online at Caribbean Ticketshop, and at physical sales venues at Mensing’s Caminada, Van den Tweel Supermarkets, and the 31 locations of Tu y Yo.
