Beyglz is a bagel and coffee house situated in the Scharloo district of Willemstad. Its interior design, a charming blend of American sophistication, European chic and Caribbean mellow, radiates an inviting atmosphere of dynamism, which, next to the delicious food and drinks, has formed a cornerstone of our success. We got our start because we felt the need for a restaurant like this in Curaçao and noticed that others did too. It was a hole in the market and Beyglz capitalized on it. Our owner and founder, Candice van Delden, was also passionate about cooking and had been requested to cook for others on many occasions before opening Beyglz so she was confident that people were going to love her cooking. She also chose to start this bagel and coffee house in Curaçao because she was born and raised on the island, so contributing to her community was a given. She also reasoned that the world has plenty of bagel shops while many locals had never even tried a bagel sandwich before we opened our doors. Providing our catering services to the Dutch and local prime minister during an event in 2019 marked a major highlight of the existence of our restaurant. We are also proud that Beyglz has become part of the rebirth of the Scharloo district and in the future, we look to make this a more sustainable business and build a chain of Beyglz restaurants.
